The different colour palettes will change in other seasons during the trek. Even the way trek light shifts with the season. While spring is famous for its romantic, surreal look and autumn is popular for its fine views.

      Pikey Peak Trek is Spring

The beauty of this trek in spring lies in enjoying the blossoming rhododendrons, especially in April. In the Spring season, the misty woods on the trial come alive with varied shades of red and scarlet.

You are in for a treat of a lifetime. Varieties of rhododendron decorated the whole forest, forming entire hills in different colours. The trek adds magical touch when sunrays diffuse, filtering in from colourful flowers.

While you are in the woods, you can hear the chipping sound of birds and incense most of the time. It creates a very harmonious vibe in your trek. You may also witness snowfall during the season. This forms entire meadows displayed in white.

      Pikey Peak Trek in Autumn

You will not find colourful flowers in the autumn season. But the hills will be greener with a rain-washed environment. You will find the dark, mossy forest under the brilliant blue sky with glaring white peaks peeking at us. The vibrant colours are inching toward deep greens, reds, and browns.

The mist is air washed, so you will see excellent views of nature and landscape when you step out of the sunshade. You also witness sharp stars shining into the sky in the nighttime. This is a great time to be on Pikey Peak Trek, especially if you are interested in night-sky photography.

      Pikey Peak Weather

What the Pikey Peak Trek experiences in terms of weather depends on which season you choose. The spring months (March to May) and autumn seasons (September to November bring clear weather alongside pleasant temperatures between 10°C to 15°C during daytime.

Safe drinking water is important during the Pikey Peak trek to prevent you from getting ill. Natural water supplies at tea houses are acceptable, but boiling or filtering water provides the best safety protection.

A water filter or water purification tablets serve as equipment for safely cleaning natural water sources. Drinking water that has been boiled offers protection against germs. Bring a reusable water container combined with enough water consumption at higher elevations because dehydration occurs more quickly.

Safe drinking water requires avoiding all water sources that are outside of your control, including streams and unknown resources.

Altitude Sickness Risk in Pikey Peak Nepal

During the Pikey Peak Trek, the thinning atmosphere above higher elevations leads to the development of altitude sickness. Your body needs to adjust when exposed to small amounts of oxygen available at high elevations.

When experiencing altitude sickness, common symptoms usually include headaches combined with feeling dizzy and experiencing nausea while becoming extremely tired.

Your safety in preventing altitude sickness depends on you going slowly and giving your body rest through intermittent breaks. Your journey will stay safe by drinking lots of water, getting plenty of rest each time you are tired, and reducing your speed.

When sickness symptoms begin, you should immediately pull over for rest or move to a lower elevation. Deciding when to stop and taking it too slow will lead to safe trekking.

      Currency Exchange

Everything during the Pikey Peak Trek must be paid in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). Before starting your trek, you should exchange currency in Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Banks provide currency exchange services along with exchange offices throughout the country, and foreigners can find Nepalese rupees at the airport.

All exchanges should be done within major city locations before travelling to the mountain regions.

      Booking And Payment Conditions

It is most often necessary to arrange the Pikey Peak Trek through a trekking agency. They will ask for a deposit. Payment can be made before you travel to Nepal or at the start of a trekking adventure.

State which payment mode the agency accepts, e.g., credit card, cash, etc. It's also important to know their cancellation policy.

If you cancel close to the trek date, you might not get all your money back. Always read the booking terms carefully to avoid any surprises.

All of this has to be done within the framework of the existing visa regime and, no doubt will be updated soon.
