Route to Bhutan Tour
To arrive at Bhutan, we first take the flight to Paro Airport. The first thing you will notice as you disembark is the transparent purity of air and the absence of noise. The next day, you will do the Thimpu sightseeing. After breakfast transfer to Punakha/Wangdue and during the drive we will be able the enjoy the beautiful mountains. It takes about 4-5 hours of drive to reach Wangdue Phodrang. After breakfast drive to Metshina. On a hillock in the center of the valley below Metshina is Chimi Lhakhang. Continue to drive to Thimphu across the Dochu La pass. Afternoon drive to Paro.
Today, you will do 3 hrs hike to the Taktsang Monastery also called Tiger's Nest caves in historical Tibet in which Padmasambhava practiced and taught Vajrayana. It is rested on the side of a cliff 900 m above the floor of the Paro valley. After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Paro International airport to fly to your onward destination.
