About The Trip

Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in the districts of Nawalpur, Parsa, Chitwan, and Makwanpur. The dense jungle, wide grasslands, and dispersed marshlands are ideal homes to some of the fiercest predators and their prey. Witness real wilderness in the forests of Chitwan: go for a jeep safari in the bottom of the forest or ride an elephant and catch wildlife by surprise.

Overview
